Launching 2025 Workshops

Hi, everyone

I hope you are having a good weekend.

Now that I am done with the art fair season for 2024, I started updating my website.

First thing I did, was to update my Workshops and Lessons page. It now has a drop-down, where you can choose 1-on-1, short workshops, longer workshops, and editing classes.

I have also launched two half-day workshops to run in May 2025. Early bird pricing on these will run till April 15th. Check them out if you are interested in learning how to improve your photography, and spend a fun half day exploring some beautiful waterfalls in the Berkshires and/or Connecticut. I am also offering an add-on introductory and editing sessions to go with the workshops.

I have also launched a registration to an on-line six-week class on editing your landscape photos in Lightroom Classic (with a little Photoshop). The class will take you through the fundamentals of editing from the basics to the more advanced tools. No advanced knowledge is required. Although the class will use Adobe Lightroom Classic (and Adobe Photoshop), a lot of the concepts will be applicable to other editing software.

Finally, I am still in the process of creating longer workshops (keep your eye on this page for updates). Currently, I am planning a longer workshop in Acadia National Park and Mid-coast of Maine in the first week of June (details to follow). The second workshop I am planning is in the Finger-lake region of upstate New York. This workshop will likely run third week of October (I am still figuring out the timing). Please, let me know if you would be interested in something like this as I will only do it if I have enough interest (at least four people), as organizing such a workshop is a significant undertaking.
